Question: I was in MLM years ago and now I’m getting started again. I’m in my 60’s and don’t have the energy to be pushy and wear people down by constantly calling them the way I used to.
Plus it just seems like there are so many more people doing it now. I guess like for me, the economy has a lot of us looking for some real steady residual income. I know you are a sales expert so I hope what I’ve said doesn’t offend you, but I need an easier approach than what my upline is suggesting. Any ideas?
Answer: First of all, if you’re in your 60’s and running low on energy we need to talk! I use a product that has people of all ages – up into the 80’s & beyond, full of energy and not from stimulants.
The biggest part of your sales question is that your business should energize you because you love what you do, not drain you. If it’s draining you’re doing it wrong. That goes for everybody, not just MLM’ers.
Maybe your upline is just a little out of step with the times. Those old hard core sales practices are long gone for the companies I’ve done training for in the last several years.
Bottom line, have a real conversation like you would if you were having the conversation with someone you care about. You’re talking to people about something that will make their life better, right? And you do care about them being successful, don’t you? So speak from your heart. No more using slick sales stuff.
I am offering my Getting to YES Without Selling Quick Start Formula 2.0 at 50% off inspired by your question. This program will get you on the right path immediately and make your job so much easier, because it is all about having a real conversation. So grab your copy today.
