Question: I noticed you’ve been answering a lot of questions on book writing lately. Maybe you can help me. I created a home study program 3 years ago and never released it. I don’t know what happened.

I was really excited throughout he process of creating it. But there always seemed to be a little thing here or there to be done before I released it and then I just kind of let it go. I can’t seem to get my interest back to put it out. What’s going on?

Answer: It’s not uncommon for a person to pour many hours, weeks, months, and for some, even years into creating a project. You’d think with that kind of investment, not to mention the money they spent, it would get to market. Yet this is more common than you’d think. books

It’s not so much about losing interest as it is about fear. Fear of the unknown. What will your life become when you’re successful? Will your friends and family think you’ve changed? Will your lifestyle change? Will you have to move, get a bigger house, buy a more impressive car?

Some of the things that you dream about aren’t really important to you. It’s just what you think you’re supposed to want. So as you get close to marketing your program, you’re looking at your life and thinking of all the things you’ll miss if things change.
