Is Your Life Vision Creating Everything You Want?

With just a few weeks left to this year, it’s time to readjust to realize the life vision you had created for the year. How is this year working out for you? Is it falling into alignment with your vision, or not quite?

Written Goals

How many years have you written out your goals and then at the end of the year written almost the exact same things for the next year? I certainly hope you have at least been writing goals for yourself. But simply writing them is not enough.

The act of thinking of what you want to be, do and have for the year is a step most people in our society don’t even do in the first place; so congratulate yourself for at least doing that.

Taking the next step and putting your goals on paper is not the end of the process either. It may almost be the end of the year, but it’s the beginning of turning your dreams into reality.

Then decide what actions steps you need to take to start the ball rolling. Then, make a point of taking that first step immediately. If you find yourself reluctant to take the first step, break it up into smaller chunks. The important thing is to take action now!

Why Visualization?

I’m a big believer in visualization. It is an incredible tool for tapping into your own intuition and for painting the picture in your mind of your accomplished goals. The process of visualizing allows you to cement the end result in your subconscious as if it is already a reality.

Now that you’ve seen the picture and felt it in your mind, write it down so you can read it aloud every day. Even better, record it and listen to it several times a day. If you take this one tip and add it to your goal process, you will realize your goals in a fraction of the time.

Creating Your Vision Board

The last step is to create a visual representation for yourself to re-enforce the pictures in your mind. This is your vision board. Take a piece of poster board and cut out pictures and phrases from magazines or anything else that pertains to your goals. Make a collage of all the pictures and hang it in a place where you will see it the most during the day.

Getting everything you want doesn’t have to be difficult. Spend time this week starting the process so you can put your subconscious to work. Follow these simple steps and what starts as a snowball will become an avalanche of energy and desire that will make you unstoppable.
