Hard to believe the year will be over in just a couple weeks! Was it a good year for you? Did you make some positive changes?
My year was full of unexpected twists and turns. In January I closed down my business. In July I started it back up again in a more streamlined way with much less of a time commitment on my part. I didn’t want to work full time. I completely redesigned my website and made more of an effort to be active on Facebook. And for the last 6 months I filled a radio spot on my friend Linda Forsythe’s network with my show, Success Blueprint Radio. As we close the year, I have decided to take a break from the radio show. I’m also going to take a break from my ezine.
I’ve been doing a weekly ezine since 2003, almost exactly 10 years. But things have changed and we have more direct ways of communicating. It seems to me that the ezine format is a little redundant when I just turn around and post it on my blog anyway. So I’ll be posting here on my blog and also on my Facebook page. My Facebook profile is reserved for personal conversation about things
that interest me, leaving business topics for my page.
I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking to streamline my business activities to have more time off. I don’t know how long I’ll stay in Cabo so I want to be fully present and have as much fun here as I can before I decide it’s time to move on.

It’s interesting that I received this email today about your end of year moves. I was looking at some past ezines you had sent to me which I had saved for future reference and ironically you sent this email today. Talk about irony.
I guess you have to move forward and do what’s best.

I’m glad you keep the ezines for reference. In the beginning at least I will email to let you know there is a new article posted.
The main purpose (and benefit) in my mind of changing the format for delivering the content is to be able to connect on a more personal level like we are now and also connecting with comments rather than individual emails so I’m not the only person who gets to connect with you.
I’ve learned that much wisdom comes from readers sharing their thoughts and even though I ask people to post what they send to me in an email as a comment, few do.
This format, and using Facebook as well, should give us more of an opportunity to have a real conversation.
