Are You Too Overwhelmed to Make Big Money?

It’s so easy to be overwhelmed these days…

  • You’re overwhelmed with obligations because you’ve said yes when you really wanted to say no.
  • You’re overwhelmed because you want to do way more things than what fits in 24 hours.
  • You’re overwhelmed because you have so many choices as a talented person you can’t even choose.
  • You’re overwhelmed with too much information and everything you have to learn to be an expert in your field.
  • You’re overwhelmed because technology makes you accessible 24/7 and you have no down time anymore.

Overwhelm is such a gigantic block. Face it, overwhelm knock the energy out of you making it that much easier for you to become even more overwhelmed by not being able to keep up the pace and feeling like you’re falling behind everyone else!

With the availability of information overload in our world, it takes conscious effort to stay out of overwhelm. This just keeps coming up over and over. I can’t say I’m immune to it either. So I took a long hard look at what would be the most effective way to help both of us stay in that place of clarity and focus rather than drifting off into overwhelm.

And I understand the bright shiny object syndrome that entrepreneurs face daily with new technology and always having the latest and greatest tool at your disposal. I make a conscious choice to not be on Facebook and twitter as much as I was last year. I had to learn to use social media as a tool, not for constant chit chat, so it doesn’t become a huge time suck.

There are a couple things you can use to help you achieve the same type of results I get consistently, when I work one on one with a client in major overwhelm.

For people that are on the road to success and are still building their business, all the new tools you learn about all sound great and you?re pretty sure that if you just had that one thing, it would fill the gap.

In fact, I get calls all the time with clients asking me if I saw this email or that new offer and do they need to buy it. Most of the time the answer is no. Sometimes it?s because it?s not time and sometimes it?s because you?re never going to want to do that particular task yourself and sometimes it?s that you?ll never need that in your specific business.

So again it goes back to having the clarity of knowing who you are, focusing on what you?re here to do and creating and then implementing the blueprint of how you?re going to get there.

3 Foundational Questions:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What am I going to do about it?

If you can?t answer those questions how could you know if you need something now, need it later or don?t need it at all?

The point is that most people can?t answer those questions so they spend a fortune hoping it?s the right thing, getting in just in case and missing the part where investing the time to create a clear plan will save them a fortune in time and money very quickly.

If you find that you currently have a lot of products sitting around that you know you aren?t fully utilizing or you are involved with many different ongoing programs, I have five questions for you to ask yourself.

1. Why did you decide on that particular book/program?

2. How long have you been involved?

3. What results have you seen so far?

4. When do you expect to have the process finished and what is your expected end result?

5. In ongoing programs, what is the financial commitment and for how much longer?

Really think about the answers to those questions. It will give you a great deal of clarity. And if you take a good honest look at your business and your life, it will help you to get refocused, which is your way out of overwhelm.

Once you have an accurate picture of where you are you can make a decision on what you want to do now, later or never. It also let’s you decide when and how accessible you choose to be and what to say no to.
