3 Keys to Getting the Most from Your Work Time

To make the most out of the time you spend working, you need to do three simple things.

#1. Constantly be perfecting your skills
#2. Learn new information
#3. Take immediate action on what you learn

By doing this you can greatly increase the amount of money you earn in the same time or less. How would you like to double your income without working longer hours?

The learning I am referring to includes being current on all the trends in your industry, reading industry publications and attending conferences. Take
advantage of educational opportunities as well as any classes or seminars in your community that would help you to do what you do at a higher level.

There is never a point when you are done learning. You will never have read all the books or listened to all the audio programs or attended all the seminars that will serve to increase your income and give you more time to live the life of your dreams.

If you are serious about rising to the top of your profession, this is the fastest way of doing it. Also, attend conferences of a general self-improvement nature. You will always learn something and you’ll feel better about yourself afterwards. Remember there is always room for growth in your life.

To create growth you have to change and that requires new information.  Repetition is the best way to integrate new information into your brain.  That’s
why you should read a book more than once and listen to an audio series or watch a DVD series over and over.

I go to hear some speakers every time I can.  Even if it’s only a few months later and I have read the book and listened to the audios they are speaking
on. I always learn something new or I’m reminded of something I could be implementing in my life.

If you’re serious about being successful you will invest at least 10% of your earnings on self-improvement. It’s the best and fastest way to grow yourself and your bank account.

Look at it like taking your vitamins.  It’s vitamins for your brain. The brain is a muscle and needs to be exercised to function at full capacity.  Keep your mind excited by constantly challenging your old information with some new input.

If you aren’t on the cutting edge, you’re on the dull edge, or worse yet the trailing edge.  Do you want to be left in the dust by your competitors?  It’s evolution.  You must change and grow to survive.  Otherwise you will go the way of the dinosaurs.

Have you read everything there is to read about your products and your company?

Do you subscribe to industry magazines?

Do you take notes and then take action on the notes you take?

One thing I’ve learned mentoring with multi-millionaires is that they are always learning and implementing.  They buy each other’s products, and unlike the majority of people, they actually go through the course and then implement it.

Education is everything.  Learn enough to be able to hire and supervise other team members to do the implementing of what you learn. The people that are most successful in your industry are doing the same. To rise to the top and stay there you have to have a serious commitment to your education.

If you just learn one new thing at each educational event you attend or each book you read, you will make much more money than what it cost you to obtain the new information.  You could make a connection at an event that leads to a huge sale, a useful contact or a lifelong partner.

You owe it to your financial independence and future clients to develop the skills needed to present yourself to each specific client in the most powerful way possible.
