Lynn Pierce How have you been playing? |
| This morning I was thinking about the four things you need to be happy, successful and wealthy. I decided that I would give you a resources that will help you in each area, and more…so take a look at the Classes & Special Offer section below. And before we move on to more meaningful things like this week’s article, “Nothing Happens in Life Until Somebody Says Yes!” , let’s talk about Idol & the Olympics for a minute. Last week I thought American Idol was living up to the buzz of this being the most talented season ever. I’ll take that back. Whether you want to blame it on nerves or the more realistic observation that many of these kids don’t have the self-confidence to perform on this big of a stage, first the girls night and then the guys were a big disappointment. Over and over we heard the judges talking to them about their lack of self-confidence and believing in themselves. For some they blew their only chance, but for all the others there is only a few more chances left to get it together. They’ll go home and go back to what they were doing, stay in their comfort zone and tell themselves that they could have made it It’s the same for you in your business. If you don’t have the confidence to put yourself out there as an expert in your field, get off the stage now and find something else to do, because you only get so many chances before people stop listening to you. They can tell you don’t believe in yourself. If you’ve been watching the Olympics you’ve seen the same scenario playing out there. Confidence goes a long way in such fierce competition. You have to make quick decisions, you haveto have the confidence to course correct in midstream based on the conditions and the performance of your competition. You see how people are rewarded for taking chances, loss from playing it safe and sometimes crash and burnto triumph the next day when they take a big chance that doesn’t pay off. Again, no different in your business and your life. If you’re playing small, you might as well stay home. If you put yourself out there in a big way and you crash, you could just be setting the stage for a huge win the next time. Life happens, be ready for it. Set your goals high enough that they require you to stretch your comfort zone and you’ll be amazed what you can achieve. Ask yourself, “What’s the one thing I can change this year to create the life of my dreams?” Remember to join the conversation below.

4 Steps To Be Happy, Successful and Wealthy
February 26, 2010
l have a few special offers for you today based on the four steps you need to be happy, successful and wealthy. I decided that I would give you a resources that will help you in each area, and more…so take a look.
First your mind needs a track to run on to create your success.
A couple weeks ago I brought this resource to your attention, so if you didn’t get it, go take another look. It’s the new Science of Getting Rich Program from Bob Proctor, who has built a 40 year career teaching this, and his good friends and fellow experts from “The Secret”, Jack Canfield and Michael Beckwith.
This program is the first place I would recommend you look for personal growth and wealth building from the inside out.
For some of you, happiness and having a goal achieving process is your key to being motivated. Without exception, this is the most realistic and effective way I’ve seen to actually multiply your happiness…
But after you’ve got the millionaire mindset and you’re visualizing what will make you happy, you need
a product that’s ready to sell so you can start generating income immediately.
Just think, the Self Improvement industry is a multi-BILLION dollar a year industry, and it’s growing faster every day.. and now YOU can have a piece of the action!
http://YourSelfGrowthSuccess.com/
Get instant access to 100% original self-help/self-improvement reports, sales letters, and graphics every single week with private label resale rights and pocket 100% of the profits!
The next step is to have a persuasive presence to create relationships with clients, JV partners, etc. You need to have a powerful persuasive story to tell the world.
Then you need free access to media outlets who are looking for someone just like you, so you have someone to tell your story to that will generate media buzz for your business.
And then you go back and start at the top and go more in depth on your learning in all these areas. The process never ends, the only thing that changes is your ability to get more and more out of these tools as your knowledge expands to use them on a deeper level.
Nothing Happens in Life Until Somebody Says Yes!
February 26, 2010
Think about this; even when there is no one else involved in a decision, like whether you’re going to exercise today, you still have to say yes to yourself to make it happen. And if you don’t enjoy the activity, there’s
probably an internal conversation going on where you have to give yourself a very persuasive argument to get to that yes!
How do you get to the point of saying yes to yourself or having someone else say yes to you?
You’ve been doing it naturally, without any conscious thought, since you were a toddler
convincing another child to give you the toy he or she was playing with.
How do you think you got a date each time you’ve wanted to go out with someone new?
How did you convince your last employer they should hire you for the job instead of another, equally qualified person?
How do you get your kids to do what you want them to do? Or do you?
Remember that time you really wanted to eat at your favorite restaurant, and everyone else in your group had different ideas? You convinced them by talking about how great it was, the atmosphere and the particular dishes
you thought they would enjoy, didn’t you?
The way you talked to them was based on the rapport you had with each individual and the group. You took their personal preferences into consideration and gave them the benefits of your restaurant based on their needs and desires. You thought you were being nice, and you were right.
You know how to persuade people to see your point of view and how it benefits them, don’t you? You got
them to say yes. That’s called sales.
Don’t be afraid of the word sales. The truth is you’re already much better at sales than you give yourself credit for. In fact, you spend quite a bit of your time every day in sales. Just look at the sales talents you just discovered. It’s how you get a date, a job, a spouse, a client. It’s the basis of every relationship you have because sales is nothing
more than good communication skills used for a specific purpose.
Does that shock you? I can hear you reading this and saying to yourself, “She isn’t talking to me, I don’t like sales, and I would never trick people like that.”
There are three myths about sales I’d like to dispel:
1. Most people don’t consider themselves to be in sales if they aren’t employed as a salesperson.
2. Sales is hard edged, manipulative, unpleasant, and confrontational with a winner and a loser.
3. If you are nice and considerate to people, it will be taken as weakness.
Those statements couldn’t possibly be true if you look at the way you use persuasive communication skills, otherwise known as sales, in your day-to-day life. Sales is persuading people to go along with what you want
because it’s to their benefit as in the case of your children or showing someone how you have the best solution to her problem in business. Just like you did with your restaurant choice.
So why are you making it so hard on yourself?
There shouldn’t be any difference in those conversations and the conversation you have with a potential client.
I want you to read this sentence very carefully…
The only difference is in your head, because you look at it differently when you’re asking someone for money!
Think about it for a minute. You would have no anxiety about persuading someone to give you the opportunity to help them if you were going to do it for free, would you?
So why do you let your unconscious beliefs about this word “sales” sabotage your effectiveness when it comes to having the same conversation about helping your client, but now you are asking to be paid?
You’re still offering the same service as you were when it was free, right? But it doesn’t feel like selling when you’re doing it for free, does it?
Weird head games you’re playing with yourself that are preventing you from being relaxed, happy, successful and wealthier than you are now!
Most likely this realization isn’t all it’s going to take to get you on track with being comfortable having the money conversation and asking for the sale. So if you want to move forward quickly, let me help you.
Until next week, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just comment on this here.

| “Daily spiritual practice may buy you happiness and wealth.”
Lynn Pierce What’s your practice? |
That’s the topic of today’s article. No it’s not just sitting and saying OM for half an hour, but setting a foundation for your life that shifts your energy and focus to what you really want to create. That was also the topic of my conversation with NLP co-developer, Richard Bandler , on yesterday’s Success Blueprint Radio show. Richard gave you several concrete things you can do right now to get the life you want. And a third resource for you on this topic is the series of videos you can grab as a gift from Natalie at Mind Movies . I absolutely love her videos and they don’t cost you a thing. Take a look for yourself and find out why she’s gotten over 1450 inspiring and positive comments left on her blog! Yes, that’s me in the photo, getting ready to break a board as part of one of my early Tae Kwon Do tests. Find out more in the article posted right below this. And yes, before I became a redhead a couple years ago I was a blonde. Looks like American Idol is living up to the buzz of this being the most talented season ever from what I’ve seen so far. Have you picked out your early favorites? Comment here and tell me what you think. Last week when talking about Idol I said that there’s just something so inspiring about watching people go for their dreams! You have an opportunity to watch people either grow and change and possibly become a star. Well, that certainly applies to the Olympics this week. I’ve been DVR’ing every day and find I can go through the three and a half hours in about an hour and see everything I want to see. And boy is there some great moments to see! Last night was a record number of medals in one day for the US team. It reminded me of the old line from “Wide World of Sports” if you’re old enough to remember that. They used to say “…the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat”. Watching athletes crash and burn and then get up and keep going, competing through the pain is inspiring.
There are also lessons to be learned about the psychology of a real winner in business and in life by listening to their interviews afterward. So watch and let me know who you’re most inspired by and why by commenting here.Life happens, be ready for it. How to Meditate Your Way to Wealth and Success
February 18, 2010

- Image via Wikipedia
Down through the ages, great thinkers, inventors, artists, statesman and philosophers have credited their spiritual connections for their successes.
If this seems like a strange place to begin, you may be wondering what this has to do with building wealth and success.
Daily spiritual practice is the foundation everything else builds upon to create an abundant life of wealth and success.
Let’s be real. If it didn’t take any effort or any changes from what you’re doing now, you’d already be incredibly wealthy and wildly successful. If you already are, I applaud you for reading this article and continuing to grow.
If you don’t have everything you want, you have to ask yourself …“How much effort is the life of my dreams worth to me?”
Another good question to ask yourself is, “Am I willing to do something different in my life to get a better result?”
I can tell you from personal experience that in the years I’ve been following a daily spiritual practice, I’ve seen a tremendous increase in energy, focus, creativity and abundance. Yes, there are many days I don’t feel like getting up early.
But I’ve been doing it long enough that I know the difference in the days I do and the days I don’t, and it’s just not worth the extra time in bed to sacrifice the benef
its of the calmness, peace and level of focus it brings.
You can start with something as simple as being grateful for the opportunity of another day. Even before you open your eyes you can say to yourself silently or out loud, “Thank you for this day filled with love, opportunity and abundance.”
Some people find yoga and other types of more meditative exercise to be just the thing to follow their spiritual reading. When I began doing Tae Kwon Do at the age of 40 while living in Mexico, I found doing the forms, very meditative.
Any type of daily spiritual practice will keep you uplifted while you achieve the level of wealth and success you desire. It will also keep you grounded in the truth of who you are.
Every major religion has a book full of great spiritual reading. You could read from different texts and get a broad view of many different beliefs. You may be surprised to find how much common ground there is from one text to another.
A book with no affiliation to any particular religion is The Course in Miracles. I’ve been a student of the Course for more than 16 years. At one point it says, “You would never be afraid if you knew who walked beside you.” I love that quote. It reminds us that we’re never alone in our pursuits.
Would you like to be incredibly wealthy, full of energy and purpose, living a life that makes you outrageously happy?
Would it be worth getting up a little earlier or missing the first half hour of the news in the morning?
What would you begin today if you believed you didn’t have to do it by yourself?
If you would like personal mentoring, send me an email detailing what you would like help with. As your mentor I hold a bigger vision for you than you hold for yourself. When you have faith and a team that believes in you, it gives you courage. When you don’t have to do it all yourself, all things are possible for you. Commit today to go for your dream 100%.

| I DVR’d both of this week’s American Idol episodes to watch this weekend because I was out with friends both nights. I love that show, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever missed an episode. I’m also a fan of Ellen so I’m hoping she’s a good addition to the mix. Comment on my blog and tell me what you think.
There’s just something so inspiring about watching people go for their dreams! It’s also a great psychology course on how to deal with rejection and use constructive criticism. You have an opportunity to watch people either grow and change and possibly become a star, or not grow and be stuck in their vision and go home. In fact, it inspired today’s article about how to grow into your destiny. I’m posting the videos that go with today’s article on my blog so you can watch them there and comment. Update on Haiti DonationsThis beautifully done music video was created by UK artists to raise money for Haiti and it’s sad and yet hopeful in the images it shows of what’s really going on there. Please watch it and donate again if you can. If you’d like to donate food directly to the children, keep reading this update. The update I got on Saturday confirms that we have fed 300,000 children so far and by the end of the month expect to feed VitaMeals to 1,500,000 children in Haiti. Each bag of VitaMeal feeds a child for a month and it’s only $22!
Thank you for your donations and it’s not too late for you to contribute if you haven’t already. When you go to the site, you will need to create a customer account but it doesn’t obligate you to any further donation. On the other hand, if you’d like to make this part of your monthly contributions, contact me and I’ll get it set up for you. Here’s a direct link to donate It’s great when you have a distribution channel and food already in place when a tragedy like this happens, as we did in Haiti, so our food was already getting to those who need it. How to Grow Into Your Destiny
February 11, 2010
Destiny is a pretty big word, and one that scares a most people into shrinking back from even exploring what your destiny is. You can stay in that stuck place for a short time or your entire life and die with your destiny unexplored and certainly unrealized.
But look for a minute at the upside of what can happen when you acknowledge your fear, take a deep breath and take that next step anyway.
Let’s take 48 year old over night sensation, Susan Boyle for example. Susan is a great case in point for growing into your destiny. We all have catalysts that occur in our lives allowing us a brief door to walk through to something much larger.
The question is, will you recognize the opportunity and will you be brave enough to walk through it. Susan Boyle said yes to herself this time and look where it’s taken her.
On January 21, 2009 she stepped on the stage for her audition on Britain’s Got Talent. I think we all know the rest of that story.
When I blogged about seeing her video on April 16th, it had gone from 9 million views the day before to 13 million. Today with the top 2 version of the video totaling about 120 million views, Susan Boyle’s performance was Youtube’s most watched video of 2009. (Here’s the page to watch the video since they’ve disabled embedding.)
Fast forward a year and on January 19, 2010, Susan Boyle has sold 8,000,000 copies of her debut CD in just 6 weeks and has been #1 on Billboard the entire time. I believe I also heard it made her the biggest selling female artist ever.
Look where that one decision to go for an audition has taken her.
Are you brave enough to grow into your destiny?
What is it going to take for you to create a blueprint for your life?
When will you ask yourself the important questions that will begin the conversation you must have with yourself?
We all have a passion, a life purpose, a reason for being here. When you discover what to that is specifically for you, you will re-connect with your source. Your life will be in alignment and things will flow much more easily.
And your financial situation will flow as well because you are in alignment. Buying into the belief that you can’t make money doing what you love is a huge lie that is costing you your life’s work.
When you are living on purpose, everything fits, it just works. You’ll feel like there’s more time in the day, more energy in your body, more passion in your voice, more love in your life.
Isn’t that what you want? Of course it is, so what is holding you back from going for your dream?
This is just the beginning of the story for Susan Boyle. She’s only one year into this journey of growing into her destiny. Even so, it must be obvious to you that this is a perfect example of what being in alignment looks like. What has happened for her couldn’t happen if she wasn’t following her path.
What would your life look like a year from now if you decide today that you are going to make growing into your destiny your top priority this year?
I’m encouraging you to post your vision for your destiny on my blog and declare yourself publicly because thinking about it or just visualizing it is not enough. You need to declare it to the Universe and put yourself on the line.
A study at Brigham Young University show that the more fully you steps into your goal, the bigger chance you have of achieving it.
Here’s the commitment levels and your chance of achieving it:
That’s a good idea 10%
I’m going to do it 25%
Setting a specific date 40%
Having a specific plan 50%
Telling someone else 60%
Set a specific time to share with someone 95%
So you pick what you’d like your chances of success to be and act accordingly.
Until next week, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just comment on this post on my blog at http://www.LynnPierce.com

Create Great Opportunities for Yourself
February 5, 2010
There is no way for you to ever know how often you are blind to opportunities because you don’t recognize them.

- Image via Wikipedia
So it’s really important that you consciously commit to being open to opportunities showing up from unexpected sources and in unconventional ways. I’m telling you…this is huge.
Don’t limit yourself by putting your goals and visions in a box. Most people do this by only accepting opportunity if it looks exactly the way you expected. Yes, be specific about what you want, but not attached to the package it shows up in or who delivers it.
Here are two of the most important factors in creating opportunities:
#1: Hold the belief the Universe is a place of unlimited abundance
#2: Know God always has a much bigger dream for you than what you have for yourself
By being too attached to the outcome, you limit the true abundance available to you. I speak from pa
inful personal experience on this, so I know that sometimes it’s more easily said than done.
I get back on track by reminding myself of this by using the simple phrase, “This or something better.” The better is usually something totally beyond my conception.
I’ll give you a personal example of how being open gave me an opportunity that others said no to, having no way of knowing what the implications were.
Several years ago I applied for a protégé program I really wanted to be a part of. There were hundreds of people vying for ten openings. I filled out a lengthy application and waited to hear from the approval committee.
When I was accepted, I was shocked and surprised to find it wasn’t for my current project, which I loved dearly like it was my first child. It was for something on the application I hadn’t even given a second thought to. I was just answering all the questions.
Little did I know this other business expertise (Getting to Yes Without Selling) was, and still is, in high demand in the marketplace and they wanted me to develop a product around it. This knowledge is so natural to me, it’s like breathing. I would have never imagined it could potentially make me a millionaire!
I would have totally missed the opportunity to provide a great service to people if I was so focused on my current project I wasn’t open to looking in another direction. And in this case it meant looking backward to my old career of 25 years and putting my knowledge into a program other people could use to perfect their sales and communication skills.
I understood being flexible and open to unexpected opportunities showing up looking a little or a lot different than expected. I was equally shocked to find many times, someone given this opportunity says no because they’re so invested in what it should look like, they convince themselves this isn’t it. These are the same people who sit around wondering why they have such bad luck!
Opportunities for greatness require being unattached to the outcome and trusting that there is a bigger plan than what you can see in front of you right now. This also brings up another fact. Many times you don’t see your own special talents clearly because to you they are simply a part of who you are. I know as a mentor, I see more in my clients than they see in themselves because I’ve been where they are and I know what’s possible down the road.
If you ask successful people if they are leading the life of their dreams, what do you think their answer is? Yes, of course!
Here’s four questions for you to ask yourself:
1. Are you living the life of your dreams?
2. What would you be doing differently if you knew you only had one year to live?
3. Why aren’t you already doing it?

Yesterday on Success Blueprint Radio my guest Mike Koenigs mentioned a commencement speech given by Steve Jobs. I watched it and I think you will want to watch it too, so I posted it here on my blog. It’s so great that online video has given us the ability to be there live when events are happening anywhere in the world and also to go back in time and experience a moment we would otherwise have no access to.
Youtube is not just about silly pet tricks! It’s a fabulous educational tool.Speaking of media, I took my camera to Anaheim and didn’t take any pictures. I’m really going to make an effort to take photos so I have something to put in that little spot at the top of the ezine. For the time being, I’ll take you on a walk down memory lane with some pictures through the years. Just promise if I show you some really old Update on Haiti Donations You can read Wednesday’s update from Nourish the Children about what’s happening on the ground right now here on my blog. It’s great when you have a distribution channel and food already in place when a tragedy like this happens, as we did in Haiti, so our food is already getting to those who need it. But the need for food will be ongoing while they rebuild so if you would like to get set up to donate food on a monthly basis, contact me personally and I’ll help you to do that. It’s great appreciated. Life happens, be ready for it. Set your goals high enough that they require you to stretch your comfort zone and you’ll be amazed what you can achieve. Ask yourself, “What’s the one thing I can change this year to create the life of my dreams?” Remember to join the conversation here. Join me on Social Media: |
Yesterday my guest was Social Media Marketing expert Mike Koenigs. You may have seen Mike speak about Traffic Geyser at a live event, but you have never heard him talk like this about what he’s learned on his journey about what it takes to be successful. This was such an impactful call for many of the listeners that I received emails and even phone calls telling me how meaningful Mike’s keys to success were in terms of their own success blueprint.
And that is why I do this show. My goal is to bring you guest who will openly share their path and the keys they have discovered in a way that allows you to implement their success keys in your own personal success blueprint. So if you haven’t been listening to the show, I would highly recommend you check it out. You can listen to all the shows posted on http://SuccessBlueprintRadio.com Next week’s guest is attorney, author and expert on conflict resolution Stewart Levine. If you’ve got conflict in your home, in your work or in any of your relationships, you don’t want to miss this call. Go to the site and submit your questions for Stewart now. The show airs live every Wednesday at 4PM EST, where you can ask your questions live or submit them ahead of time at |
